What is it like to use a metal detector in the fields of England, unearthing over twenty centuries of lost treasures? For eight years I have joined Jimmy "Sierra" Normandi and other Americans on a metal detecting adventure to the fields of England. Our groups have searched private land to uncover ancient artifacts and coins from the Bronze Age through Celtic, Roman, Medieval and Modern times.
