2nd & 3rd - The Oregon Treasure Trail Society is hosting their annual Silver Classic Open Hunt over Labor Day weekend at the Yamhill County Fairgrounds in McMinnville, Oregon. Two full days of competition hunts are scheduled, 7 hunts in all, and each hunt is guaranteed to have a winner of a metal detector -- not to forget a gold coin or two and plenty of silver! Sept 15-17th - The FMDAC is holding their annual convention and hunt at Clearwater Beach Florida starting on Friday September 15 through Sunday 17. The BIG hunt will
be held Sunday. The grand prize is a chest full of GOLD, SILVER,and CASH...minimum value $2000.00. You can print your entry form from the Federation website at http://www.fmdac.com. Contact Sue Dubiel at asdubiel@cs.com. Parties interested in purchasing display tables contact Bill Popp at brpopp@hotmail.com. There will be tons of prizes and probably over a dozen detectors given away. Don't miss this one.

7th & 8th- The Central States Chapter of the FMDAC will hold their first open hunt Oct.
7 & 8, 2000 at Timberline Campground, Chesterfield, IN.  For more info, you

8th-The Tulsey Town Treasure Hunters Club will host its 10 annual Open Treasure

The 3rd annual Grand National Relic Shootout to be held this year in Virginia. Teams have already been picked for this years event but stay tuned to future issues for information on how you can participate in GNRS 2001.
