How It Works:
The contest will run monthly on the Treasure
depot Website. We will post the submissions as they come in and
as time allows us to do so. On the first of each month
regardless of what day it is we will open the voting booth on
this site for you to vote for your choice of find of the month.
We will make a post on the detecting forum telling you it is
time to come to this site and cast your vote. The booth will
only be open for 24 hours. We will announce the winner of the
contest sometime after the contest ends. The entries should
be judged on appearance, uniqueness, rarity, eye appeal and your
own personal criteria. The winner receives a $5.00 Gold
Coin !
Rules:
- You may submit up to 2 (two) finds for each contest as
long as the finds were made by you that month. Submitting
for others is not allowed.
- Your finds must fall into one of the following categories:
Coins, Jewelry, Relics, Bottles, or Indian artifacts. Items
can be found with or without a detector.
- Submissions must be sent from a valid e-mail address. NO
WEB BASED MAIL such as Hotmail, Yahoo, etc will be accepted.
- Only one vote per person per month. Votes must also be
sent from a valid e-mail address. NO WEB BASED MAIL
such as Hotmail, Yahoo, etc will be accepted.
- Winners will be featured in an upcoming issue of the
Treasure Depot Magazine.
- You must follow these rules or your entry will not count.
All decisions are final and the word of the Depot staff is
final.
- The Treasure Depot reserves the right to stop the contest
at ant time. we reserve the right to disqualify any entry we
feel may not fit the criteria of this contest. Any
questionable entries may be subject to disqualification at
the discretion of the Treasure Depot staff.
- Finds found during the month must be
submitted by midnight on the last day of the month.
- TR & myself (webmaster) will not
participate. There will be no question about fairness while
counting the votes if we are excluded.
