Photo Challenge Rules
**** RULES ****
The
winner of previous challenge (Host) gives you a topic of interest
and a set of rules to follow for that challenge. You post an
image. The host chooses the winner of his challenge. The decision of
the host is final. you can not enter your own challenges if
you are the host. The winner then chooses the
next topic, judges the winner and passes on the baton to that person,
etc.
Generally speaking
they images must be taken the day of the start of challenge till
the last day of challenge unless the host specifies differently
in his rules.
You can do all the post
processing you want, unless specified in the challenge differently. However, it is most helpful if you list your
camera and lens along with your photo and what post processing you did.
Feel free to comment on other contestant's images. If you want someone
to leave you a piece of constructive criticism, please state so in your post.
Here are some
guidelines:
When posting your picture do so
in a new post with the contest # and entry # as the subject.
Either embed your image in the
thread using the depot upload in teh post, or if you must, supply a link to it. Keep in mind, however,
most people don't want to click to open photos hosted elsewhere (i.e.
on your website). Also try and resize your photos prior to posting so
they're sized appropriately for viewing to minimize having to scroll (1000-1200 pixels wide maximum)
Provide any additional
information you want.
You may enter up to
*THREE* pictures to each challenge, Please limit the size of your entries to conserve bandwidth. 350K or less works well.
The challenge can run for any
length of time the host decides (please keep it within reason, i.e.
none over 30 days in length, 2 to 3 weeks seems to work well).
