Report from Myrtle Beach SC ...

Well I have been hunting the beaches around SurfSide Beach and the State Park and it is very clean!
Some pocket change but very little trash.
Dont understand it ... spring break had the beaches packed ... today it was very busy ... still ... pocket change is hard to find.
Seen one fella detecting around the pier at the Myrtle Beach State Park with a Sovereign detector who said he was a local.
Also said as much is found in the dry sand as in the wet stuff at low tide.
So ... haven't found any goodies yet but I am enjoying the beach, sun, and hospitality of South Carolina.
Been using the new MX Sport detector ... it works OK for most of the beach ... but it sure isn't a Minelab in the wet sand!

There was a beach wedding near the SurfSide Pier today ... it was fun to watch.

Monday will be my last day her then its back to work ... still have hopes of a good find.
