I received a letter in the mail yesterday. Apparently, Linda read the article in the columbus dispatch about me returning a ring to the gentleman who lost his playing ultimate frisbee. So she did some detective work and found my address. She wrote me me a nice letter explaining how her husband lost his ring doing some yard work. Long story short she asked if I'd mind and try to find her husbands ring.
So i called her and made arrangements to meet today at 6pm. I arrived and the husband retraced his steps and showed me everywhere he took a break and took off his gloves. He was fertilizing all of his yard with the seed spreader.
2 hours later, cross gridding, i finally came across the right tone and depth.
46 years he's had this ring, and didn't want to have to buy a new one. Here's a picture of the happy couple.
