Some times its cheaper to buy a new/used machine.
In Response To: And the wait goes on....... ()

Once again my bill was $800 to repair my Excal. Since I refused the estimate they still charge me $40 plus my shipping costs. I bought a new/used Excal with 3 batteries and extra straight rod for the $850.

Cant really complain as the 1st Excal paid for itself in no time. Now I think I cant sell it for parts and get back what I originally paid for it !!! :)))) Not a bad investment.

PS. A little birdie told me that K is getting a bit more reasonalbe about repair costs. However, they still are pricey compared to the other big guys.
You learn early on, always have a back up.

Good luck, I feel your pain.
