He has a very neat workbench that rolls out of the back.
Very personable guy and he was great about showing me how he makes his rings. He had five coin rings started with a hole in the center. They were cone shaped at this point.
He began by heating the ring up with a propane torch, then he put the ring in different size cone shaped cylinders to get the right shape. Here he is using the press.
Talking the whole time he was done in ten to fifteen minutes with the forming of the ring.
Lyn said he had a couple other things to do to get the right patina. He showed me one unfinished and one finished.
