This was our first dig together for 2017 and to tell you the truth we had more than one person tell us we were crazy as %#$ for digging with the temps south of 19 degree's to start off with, but when we got on site and after digging first flat button it was full out digging mode for the next 5 hours. We went back to the site where SC Keith and I had dug our Slave Tag 6 years ago and this site still continues to produce for us. On this trip we carried Pistol Pete and he had also got in the action by digging handful of flat buttons and house site brass. Keith dug "Bakers Dozen" of flat buttons and got a nice Large Penny. I got a first today which was a cool bullet mold that had 4 different cal for musket ball. I tried like hell to find the other part of it but area we were digging was grown up so maybe next time can find the other half of it. Also got a King George copper which was a pleasant surprise. I don't deer hunt but I seem to always find a rack when in the woods and here is the one I found today.
