Once they start harvesting, they go almost 24-7. If I go out on the country roads at night I can see them out there with lights on the equipment. With soy beans if they get snow on them etc, it's hard for the equipment to get it up enough to combine and they end up losing some. When everything is go,then they go. A close friend had about 250 acres or so, and he rented his out to a relative who farmed big time. Some of these guys farm thousands of acre's. When I use to trap I have drove a smaller tractor to pull in loads and unload them to help a friend many years ago. They feed you good for helping.
