Re: Looking for a nice tesoro Golden umax thanks

Tesoro Golden Umax
Gastonia, NC
The legendary Tesoro Golden Umax(old tones unit). A few months ago I purchased this detector in used condition. I've used a lot of metal detectors in my life and many Tesoro machines but this one is different. A multi-toned Tesoro with 4 different tones. A wide or narrow notching function used in the discrimination mode and it works very well. A notch width control dial that not only is used while in the wide or narrow notching functions but can be used while in discrimination mode with the notch functions off & will allow to off set tones of lower conductive trash targets but keep gold as a recognizable tone. If you are not familiar with this unit(or even if you are)check out 53'silver on YouTube for some great information on this machine. Not interested in trades for this particular machine and my price is firm . This machine is in excellent physical and operating condition for a detector of its age. This unit is a fine example of a Golden Umax with only minor scrapes and scratches from ordinary use. The coil is a 9x8 spider concentric and is in great shape with minor blemishes from normal use. A nearly new coil cover comes with purchase. The Golden Umax is an awesome choice for the coin/jewelry hunter with many options to chose from while on the hunt. My reason for the sale...I've recently been promoted at work and my time for detecting is vanishing. I would like to give someone the opportunity to enjoy this fantastic machine and not have it sitting in my house collecting dust! For payment I will accept PayPal only. Friends and Family option preferred but if not for you then please add 4%($16) to cover the fees for other PayPal payment option. Items will ship well packaged in a generic box(no original box)with a color photocopied manual. Shipping to the lower 48 states only. Actual shipping cost will be paid by the buyer. Any questions or interest please PM me. Thank you for looking.
